Wild River Angler is a quality guide service catering to fly anglers on Maine's Kennebec, Androscoggin, and rivers in between. We offer drift boat trips as well as traditional walk wade trips. For anglers in who find themselves in the Freeport & Portland areas, we offer drift boat trips on scenic rivers that are in some cases, only a half hour drive.
As independent guides, not affiliated with a fly shop, we are not tied down to a single river or location, which allows us to take anglers to the waters that are fishing the best at the moment.
We are dedicated to being the best guides in the areas that we fish. Our guides are expert anglers with a fly rod and they have extensive experience fishing the local waters. They are great teachers with enjoyable personalities, and you will be hard pressed to find guides who are willing to work harder to put you onto fish.
